Alex Basile - Vocals, guitar

Alex Basile grew up on Long Island and attended Chaminade High School in Mineola, New York. He earned a B.A. from St. John’s University. After owning his own business for twelve years, he joined the faculty of Kellenberg Memorial High School in 1996 as a member of the Religion Department. While teaching at Kellenberg, he earned an M.A. from the Religion Education and Religious Studies Program at Fordham University. He currently serves as an Assistant Chaplain and Religion Department Chairman at Kellenberg. Alex has written a book, Finding Faith in a Godless World, available at Alba House/ St. Paul’s.
Alex formed the pop/Irish group The Irish Mist. They have performed on the New York music scene since 1990. Alex has brought his music experience to Kellenberg and has produced fourteen CDs for Kelleberg’s Saint Cecilia recording Studio.
Alex is married and resides in Lynbrook, New York with his wife Allison and his two children, Alex and Margaret.

Ronnie D'Addario - Vocals, guitar

Born and raised in Manhattan, Ronnie D'Addario began singing and playing, including bass guitar, professionally in 1972. He has played guitar with Tommy Makem, of The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem fame, for the past decade, in concert, recordings, TV shows, and the stage.

Ronnie's credits include an appearance on the Rosie O'Donnell Show, TV commercial jingles, and six PBS shows with Tommy Makem (where he performed with Judy Collins and Eric Weissberg of "Dueling Banjos" fame). He has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Guinness Fleadh at Randall's Island, Lisner Auditorium, Wash. DC, and Mechanic's Hall, Worcester, MA. Ronnie also produced the album, "Live At the Irish Pavilion," a favorite among Makem fans, and has produced several other artists, including Morning Star, Mary O'Dowd, Danny Quinn, and of course,The Irish Mist. His song, "Falling for Love," was recorded by The Carpenters in 1981. Ronnie lives in Hicksville, N.Y. (Long Island), with his wife, Susan, a neuropsychologist, and two sons, Brian, and Michael. He has his own original and classic rock band called "The Rock Club."

Michael Groarke - Vocals, piano

Michael Groarke, along with Alex Basile is a founding member of The Irish Mist. Michael teaches music technology at Fox Lane High School in Bedford, New York. Michael resides with his wife, Lynn in Somers, New York.
